We offer confidential and compassionate advice to assist you through the difficult times should you find yourself in an abusive relationship. No-one should suffer abuse for any reason. Once you have made that first decision to seek help there are many sanctions available to you.
- If required we can raise urgent proceedings in the Sheriff Court seeking protective orders to ensure you and your family are safe.
- If necessary we can seek the removal of the abusive spouse or partner from the house.
- In the event that you are the victim of a course of conduct amounting to harassment then there are alternative sanctions which we can ask the court to grant.
Should the offender not adhere to the terms of a protective order then there may be criminal sanctions which the Police and Procurator Fiscal can invoke.
At Munro & Noble we have experience in this area of law. We understand the distress and pain this causes and will work closely with other organisations who can offer additional support and practical advice to you and your children. We will listen and provide support in total confidence.
