Munro & Noble is delighted to announce the promotion of Matthew Albiston to Associate, effective from 1st June 2024. This promotion reflects Matthew’s dedication, expertise and contributions to the firm since he joined in March 2021.
Matthew Albiston, a native of Moray, pursued his LLB and Diploma in Legal Practice at Strathclyde University. Following his academic achievements, he completed his traineeship with a reputable firm in Glasgow, where he qualified as a solicitor in 2020.
Matthew’s journey with Munro & Noble began in March 2021 and he has since become a vital member of the Court Team. He is adept at advising clients on a variety of civil matters, with a particular focus on Land and Boundary disputes. His robust understanding of civil litigation and keen negotiation skills have been instrumental in resolving cases effectively for his clients.Matthew manages a diverse caseload and frequently represents clients in Sheriff Courts across Scotland. His comprehensive approach to civil litigation, combined with his experience, ensures that he can navigate the complexities of legal disputes with proficiency. He is committed to delivering practical and strategic advice, always aiming to meet and exceed his clients’ expectations.
Matthew’s client-focused philosophy drives him to provide exceptional service, whether through litigation or pre-litigation processes. He collaborates closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver well-rounded and thorough legal support.In addition to his role as a solicitor, Matthew is also a Notary Public, further extending his capability to serve his clients’ legal needs.
